Wednesday, October 23rd – Ribbon Cutting “Re-Opening Ceremony” of Pixley “Bunny” Park, City of Maywood, CA
Children and teachers from local Daycare programs and neighborhood residents, joined officials from Los Angeles County, City of Maywood, First 5 LA and Best Start, Weingart YMCA, and Amigos de los Rios for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Pixley Park in Maywood today.
The children from had the opportunity to try out all the new play equipment and enjoy some tasty snacks.
A big THANK YOU to First 5 LA for their Tot Parks and Trails project which is creating sustainable change in the community by providing increased opportunities for families with young children to connect with nature and be physically active.
