January 24, 2015 – Historic LAC+USC Hospital Campus – Last Saturday was a big day for Amigos de los Rios! We celebrated the completion of Phase 1 – Fitness Trail at the Wellness Center with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. The visitors were provided health materials, instruction on the use of the equipment and information on the organizations involved in the development of the project. The Fitness Trail that was built to encourage exercise, provide a tranquil place for patients and their family members, as well as Wellness Center staff to exercise or just relax. Thank you to all the organizations Federal, State and local that made this project possible.
