This article is a reminder that though the San Gabriel Mountains have been designated a National Monument our efforts to protect our beloved San Gabriel Mountains is far from over. There is much more to do to ensure the community’s vision for protecting wild places within the monument, safeguarding important areas outside the proclamation boundary and ensuring the community’s vision of increased access for all to use and enjoy is realized.
