Amigos de los Rios was just named an awardee of the GGRF’s urban forestry fund!!! As did LACC, KYCC, LA Beautification Team, and LABOS!
CAL Fire and Forestry is providing $15.6M in funding through a green innovations grant for urban forestry, which will sequester carbon, and help California’s disadvantaged communities! This includes $750,000 for the Jeff Seymour Family Center in El Monte, which will empower this LA based community to enhance the urban forestry and create demonstration sites for multiple benefit Green House Gas – reduction projects.
