We are deeply moved and greatly heartened by the Pope’s outspoken leadership on climate concerns. We admire his hard and tireless work for equality and eradication of poverty.
The Pope will help us all support the safety and quality of life for current and future generations and protect vital environmental resources.
We will continue to work daily with our urban communities to follow the Pope’s bold leadership on why we need to protect earth – by planting trees and creating green infrastructure throughout disadvantaged areas of the Los Angeles Basin for the benefit of all.
