December 4th was World Soils Day, and to recognize the importance of this topic, members of the San Gabriel Mountains Forever Leadership coalition shared in a stewardship event at Pecks Water Conservation Park. Volunteers got to feel the soil with us while planting nitrogen-fixing plants and mulching. In addition to beautification of the area, the work is helping to protect our land and soil. Did you know?
