We All Need ParksAmigos de los Rios is very excited about the opportunity to participate in the Los Angeles County park assessment Study! Parks provide countless health, social, environmental and economic benefits to communities. Communities with abundant parks and quality recreational facilities thrive.

The County of Los Angeles is studying park and recreation facilities to better understand how to improve, expand and make parks more accessible so that all our communities can thrive!

Amigos de los Rios will be assisting LA County by hosting several community meetings regarding park needs:

Unincorporated East San Gabriel/San Pasqual – Jan. 20, 2016 (Wed) at 7:00pm

Unincorporated Pomona – Feb. 6, 2016 (Sat) at 10:00am

Over the course of 15 months, between March 2015 and June 2016, the County will assess park needs in 189 Study Areas, including cities and unincorporated areas.
