Making a difference by Greening our Communities!
Join us at one of our Greening Events! We plant trees, mulch, and do site work throughout our many school and park project sites. Events are every weekend, Saturday and Sunday 9am to noon.
LA2050 Grants Challenge: Altadena Community Nature Recovery Collaborative
Amigos de los Rios is proposing the “Altadena Community Nature Recovery Collaborative” as part of the LA2050 2025 Grants Challenge. In collaboration with Altadena Green and Angel City Lumber, we aim to assemble and support a coalition of local partners to assess, protect, and restore Altadena’s tree canopy, biodiversity, and connection to nature, while providing residents with support to rebuild their homes using sustainably produced local materials and affordable building methods.
