Emerald Necklace Urban Forestry/Invasive Pest Manager (12-week) Trainee Positions

Amigos’ Emerald Necklace team is passionate about environmental justice and nature-based urban infrastructure, expanding green space and training next generation environmental leaders throughout L.A. County. Through this Forestry Trainee Position, we seek to train like-minded individuals with strong work ethics and a desire to create sustainable civic spaces in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for a paid training opportunity if you are interested in the field of urban forestry.

We are proud to be training the next generation of leaders in sustainable and community-based green infrastructure planning. We have Emerald Necklace Fellowships that focus on city policy, landscape design, project management, graphic design, as well as community outreach. Fellowships, depending on our current projects, can be full-time or part-time, and run from 3 months to over a year. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or entry-level professionals who are seeking policy and cultural engagement experience!
